In this role, you will support classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and promote the developmental growth of young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a positive learning space where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore their potential. Responsibilities Assist provider with daily classroom activities. Implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, and early childhood development principles Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers Provide individualized attention and support to children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities Help facilitate activities that promote social-emotional skills, behavior management, and positive interactions among children Assist with daily routines such as snack time, nap time, diapering or potty training, and outdoor play Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth and well-being Contribute to curriculum development and lesson planning that incorporates Montessori or other educational philosophies suitable for preschool and daycare settings Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices Experience working with children in daycare or preschool environments; private school experience is a plus Proficiency in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to develop engaging lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, and overall curriculum development Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and colleagues Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or other disabilities to support inclusive learning environments Knowledge of toddler care practices and Montessori methods preferred Ability to adapt activities for different age groups such as toddlers or preschoolers while maintaining a nurturing approach Experience in working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Join us in creating an enriching environment where young learners thrive!
