JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Participation in a mentor program that focuses on Positive Behavioral Intervention & Supports (PBIS) and Social Communication Emotional Regulation Transactional Supports (SCERTS) approachesWork as a productive member of the instructional team to maximize student outcomesMaintain data collection employing research-based best practice strategies to demonstrate student progress and adjust student goalsAssume classroom responsibilities in absence of teacherParticipation in daily duties, as assigned by teacher(s) within the SCEC site, as well as within general education settings including satellite campusesOther student-related assigned responsibilities as needed, including 1:1 assistance and inclusion opportunitiesProvide support to students in community and inclusive settingsReinforce academic concepts to help students achieve their academic goalsWork with general education staff to support students with inclusion opportunities
