Job Description

Class Description The purpose of this class is to provide support to meet the technical video-related needs of the Communication Arts Studio, Digital Media Production and Mass Communication faculty and program. Minimum Requirements Associate's degree in mass communication, digital media or other related field and a. minimum of two years of experience with Studio, Audio, Production, Video Production, Filmmaking and/or other related experience is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. This position is based on the Essex and Catonsville campuses Class Specific Essential Duties Support the technical and video related needs of Digital Media Production and Mass Communication classes, instructors, the Communication Arts department and SOAC. Assist faculty with videotaping, transferring materials, uploading videos and editing. Follow security procedures related to the Communication Arts Studio classroom, studio area, control room, audio room, edit stations and equipment cage. Maintain inventory and organize equipment and materials in the Communication Arts Studio classroom, studio area, control room, audio room, edit stations, and equipment cage. Responsible for ongoing control and adherence to studio policy, edit station policy and equipment check-in and check-out procedures. Required availability includes specific daytime and evening hours; schedule flexibility is limited due to student support needs. The Roth 403(b) savings feature is only offered by the following vendors: TIAA-CREF and VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save for retirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees may contribute traditional pre-tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b) post-tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combined for the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions. Deferred Compensation Plan — 457(b) offered through VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorization form is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/Human Resources Forms. Parking Free. Must obtain a parking permit from the Department of Public Safety to use on all campuses. Sick and Safe Leave CCBC is pleased to offer paid sick and safe leave for part-time employees.
