April 21, 2026 Notice is hereby given that the following position(s) are available for current Harper Creek Staff members during the summer of 2026. All positions, including quantity needed, are pending student enrollment.
POSITIONS
Summer School Intervention ParaEducators
LOCATION
All Summer School will be held at the
High School SUMMARY:
Assists instructional personnel with the development and presentation of learning materials in core content areas•reading, writing, and math to identified students' instructional needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Intervention ParaEducator Support instructional staff with the development and delivery of learning materials and activities Provide individual and small group tutoring to reinforce instruction and support student achievement Monitor and document student progress, including maintaining support logs and tracking attendance in required systems Supervise students in accordance with teacher's direction Perform other duties as assigned
PAY RATE
Respective hourly pay when a current Category 3 employee. Otherwise, $16.50 / hour.
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT
One Four-Week Session Monday•Thursday each week June 8-11 June 15-18 June 22-25 June 29•July 2
APPROXIMATE TIMES:
8:15am•12:45pm
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A. Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or B. Met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate success through a formal State academic assessment such as WorkKeys, ETS, or MTTC. Must also have an excellent attendance record; the ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community, the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and pleasantly both orally and in writing. Must understand how to use Microsoft Office, Illuminate DNA, and Google tools. Must perform duties with awareness of all State and District requirements and Board of Education policies.
