Full Job Description PreK Teacher Aide Location:
Birmingham, MI 48009 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PreK Teacher Aide to join our early childhood education team in Birmingham, MI. The ideal candidate will support the lead PreK teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. Responsibilities Assist the PreK teacher in preparing and implementing daily lesson plans and activities. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through guided play and learning activities. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, and snack times. Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance under the direction of the lead teacher.. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required. Qualifications Experience as a PreK Teacher Aide or in a similar early childhood education role. Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children. High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in early childhood education is a plus.
