Full-Time, Monday-Friday Preschool Teacher Assistant•Early Childhood Classroom The Learning Experience•Canton is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher Assistant to support children ages 3-5 in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development. This role is ideal for someone with childcare experience who enjoys helping young learners build independence and strong early learning foundations through engaging classroom experiences. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities Support developmentally appropriate experiences and classroom centers Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Guide children through transitions, meals, and group activities Encourage positive classroom participation and social interaction Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies Qualifications Prior childcare experience required CDA preferred but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, nurturing, and professional approach Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
