You must be a caring motivated and enthusiastic role model. This is a position directly caring for children. Interested candidates must be at least 18 years old and willing to submit to various background checks, drug testing, complete a TB test, and obtain a physical with physician documentation of both. Candidates must be punctual, have reliable transportation, and be customer service oriented. Job Requirements include but are not limited to: Classroom management Ability to work with a team Positive daily interaction and communication with families and staff Planning and carrying out developmentally appropriate lesson plans Assist children with daily life tasks (diapering, toilet training, feeding, etc) Be available during business hours Maintain a professional self-image Promote the philosophies of Little Sprouts Child Development Center L.L.C. Keep a clean, organized, safe environment Encourage and engage children to stimulate growth and development Practice positive reinforcement Be aware and meet the unique needs of each child Supervise and create an environment that keeps the children safe Have a strong work ethic and be a positive role model for children and staff Attend occasional after hours events, including but not limited to family nights, staff meetings, trainings, and conferences. Able to lift up to 40lbs.
