Multiple contract paraprofessional roles are available, offering full-time positions (37.5 hours/week, with typical schedules of 7:15am-3:15pm or 8:15am-4:15pm based on building assignment). You'll be an essential part of school communities, supporting students across all grade levels—including one-to-one placements in settings ranging from general education to specialized classrooms for learners with cognitive or emotional challenges. Your compassion and adaptability will shine as you assist students throughout their school day. Responsibilities include providing academic and behavioral support, facilitating communication between students and teachers, and assisting with personal care needs (such as diapering and toileting for those with cognitive impairments). Ideal candidates will bring:
At least 60 college credit hours, an associate degree (or higher), or qualifying exam scores (
ETS ParaPro Assessment:
minimum 460, or
SAT:
480+ in reading/writing and 530+ in math) Experience or interest in supporting students with cognitive or emotional impairments, or working in resource/self-contained classrooms A compassionate and patient demeanor with a true passion for helping students succeed Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of classroom settings and grade levels Ability to provide basic health aide assistance as needed A copy of official university transcripts or qualifying exam scores is required prior to consideration.
