Job Description
Infant Caregiver (Part-Time) Monday-Friday | 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM About Us We are a Christ-centered childcare ministry dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where children can grow and thrive. Our team partners with families to care for and encourage each child while reflecting the love of Jesus in all we do. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Infant Caregiver to join our team Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This position focuses on caring for infants ages 6 weeks to 1 year old. The ideal candidate has a heart for Jesus, a genuine love for children, and the patience and kindness needed to support both little ones and their families. Responsibilities Provide loving, attentive care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months Create a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Follow feeding, diapering, sleeping, and developmental schedules Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that support growth and development Maintain open, positive communication with parents and families Work collaboratively with fellow staff members to ensure quality care Follow all childcare licensing and safety regulations Demonstrate Christ-like character and serve as a positive role model for children and families Qualifications Experience caring for infants in a childcare, church nursery, or similar setting preferred Passion for working with young children and supporting families Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing spirit Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to lift, carry, and care for infants throughout the day CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Commitment to supporting the Christian mission and values of our center What We're Looking For The right candidate is someone who loves Jesus, delights in caring for infants, and understands the importance of partnering with families during the earliest stages of a child's life. We are looking for someone who will help create a warm, welcoming environment where children are loved, valued, and cared for each day.
