Full-Time, Monday-Friday The Learning Experience
  • Beltline is seeking a caring and flexible Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to support classrooms serving children from infancy through preschool.
This role provides valuable classroom support while helping create engaging learning experiences and maintaining a positive environment for children and families. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety in their day and want to gain experience across multiple age groups in a supportive early childhood education setting. Key Responsibilities Support teachers with daily classroom routines and activities Assist with learning centers, group activities, and classroom transitions Help create a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities Support meal, rest time, and classroom preparation routines Provide classroom coverage as needed throughout the center Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members Follow all Michigan childcare licensing and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexible and comfortable working with multiple age groups Reliable, nurturing, and professional approach Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $16
