  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our Gabby's Guppies team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, focusing on their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Responsibilities
  • Implement weekly engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Director of center will help plan these.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress, adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Collaborate with parents, specialists, and other educators to support children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
  • Skills
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

  • QUALIFICATIONS
