Job Description

Oaktree Academy is seeking qualified individuals to work in our PreK Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) in a nature-based, Reggio Emilia inspired, center with a strong emphasis in Loose Parts. Associate GSRP Teachers are required to have a valid Preschool CDA or an Associates Degree in Early Childhood. Applicants should have verified credentials or be enrolled in college courses for Early Childhood and be willing to sign an agreement to become certified. GSRP Teachers perform the following essential duties and responsibilities: Provide redirection and positive choices to guide young children's behavior. Communicate effectively with Teachers and other Support Staff. Establish and maintain relationships with families. Provide daily reports in the Procare parent engagement app. Create weekly lesson plans with the curriculum of our region (C4L). Make regular, written anecdotal observations of each child across all developmental domains and report observations to parents according to policy. Utilize Teaching Strategies GOLD objectives as the assessment tool. Utilize ASQ-3 and
ASQ:
SE as the program's developmental screening tool. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Complete required administrative and personnel records in a timely manner.
