Resource Teacher/Dietary Aide

The Goddard School of Novi is seeking a Resource Teacher/Dietary Aide who will be responsible for food management, including preparing daily snacks, warming lunches, weekly shopping, and pizza pickup. The Resource Teacher/ Dietary Aide will also support in classrooms working with young children in a safe environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Resource Teacher/Dietary Aide is responsible for the duties outlined, which may include the following: Ensuring the safe handling and preparation of all foods. Following the snack menu provided by the Director. Complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to food handling. Maintaining appropriate portion sizes. Managing a shopping list of all needed snack items and shopping for those items once a week. Picking up weekly pizza order and delivering it to classrooms. Helping in other classrooms by providing teachers lunch breaks and letting teachers go at the end of the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Resource Teacher/Dietary Aide must meet the following qualifications: Previous experience with food preparation or culinary environment preferred. Must have good organizational skills and attention to detail. Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Must have reliable transportation. Prior to employment a background check and fingerprints will be required Qualified candidates must pass a drug test and tuberculous screening prior to beginning employment. The successful candidate enjoys directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
