To Be Determined Job Description Vacancy•Temporary Summer Learning Program Jumpstart Paraeducator Summer Classroom Assistants are needed to support the Summer Jumpstart program for the Rochester Community Schools. Applications for these temporary positions will be accepted until filled. Paraeducators will be expected to support implementation of instructional techniques that will lead to improved student achievement. Emphasis will be given to higher level thinking skills, organization skills, integration of knowledge, connecting learning to prior knowledge, cooperative learning, active participation of the learner, and integration of technology. Actual numbers of positions are dependent upon the enrollment. Baldwin Elementary August 11thHours:
8:30 am•11:00 am August 12thHours:
8:30 am•12:00 pm Student hours: 9:00am•11:00am Interviews will be held at the end of April by the building administrator.QUALIFICATIONS
Desire to work with at-risk students. Desire to work with students who need to be academically challenged.SALARY:
