Starting at minimum wage About Us We are a faith-based early childhood education center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. We are currently seeking three Assistant Teachers to join our 2.5 year old classroom team. Position Summary The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a positive, structured, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for toddlers ages 2-3. This role is hands-on and requires someone who is patient, dependable, and enjoys working with young children. Responsibilities Assist in daily classroom activities and lesson plans Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Assist with meals, snacks, diapering, and potty training Engage children in play-based learning Support positive behavior and routines Work collaboratively with lead teachers and staff Qualifications Previous childcare experience preferred (not required) Enjoys working with toddlers (2-3 years old) Reliable, patient, and team-oriented Strong communication skills Must meet state licensing requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred What We Offer Supportive, family-oriented work environment On-the-job training and mentorship Opportunity to grow in early childhood education Meaningful daily impact on children
