Assistant Teacher

Whistle Stop Learning Center is looking for a part time assistant teacher to work in mainly in our Young Preschool & Toddler classrooms. Our Ideal candidate would be patient, flexible and work well together on a team. We are currently looking for someone to work approximately 1-3 days per week (10-20 hours per week) 7am-b5:30pm, can make a set schedule for you if preferred. Days can be discussed, preferably Mondays & Tuesdays but open to discussion.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a High School Diploma
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified or willing to attend paid training in September
• Be willing to submit to fingerprinting clearance
• Provide a negative TB test
• Must complete a minimum of 24 training hour yearly
• Have a strong work ethic, be punctual and dependable
• Have dependable transportation Pay is based on experience and education.
