Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or similar support role in a school setting Strong communication skills and the ability to relate well to students of diverse backgrounds and needs Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach when working with children and collaborating with faculty Ability to assist with instructional activities, classroom management, and individualized support High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification as a paraprofessional preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Help implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and modifications as directed by special education staff Support students with special needs, ensuring their comfort and engagement throughout the school day Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment that enhances each student's educational experience This position involves
