Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract paraprofessional position supporting students during Extended School Year programming in the Anoka area. This June assignment requires a highly qualified professional eager to collaborate with educators and engage students in a positive, inclusive school environment.

Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:55am-12:25pm (exact hours may vary by site) Assignments based on student needs at
Wilson ES Qualifications:
Recognized as a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional in Minnesota by one of the following: Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (must provide proof of passing) Holding at least 60 college credits (official transcript must be provided, diploma is not sufficient) Must have both an updated resume and either MN Para Exam results or transcripts ready to submit in order to be considered Experience supporting students in school settings preferred Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Support students and teachers during summer school sessions Provide individualized and small-group assistance under teacher direction Foster a safe, encouraging, and respectful classroom culture Aid in the implementation of individualized education and behavior plans Perform assigned duties such as supervision, classroom setup, and documentation as needed This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact on students' success and could lead to a potential assignment for the next school year.
