06/07/2026 Paraeducator Secondary Full-Time 184 days/ 6.5 hrs/day Secondary Paraeducators assist and support students and teachers in classrooms at the high school and middle school levels with various instructional and supportive tasks. Essential Functions may include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist and support students and teachers in specific departments. Under the direction of the teacher/administrator, assist students individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts. Assist in the following areas or departments: Audio/Visual Dept, Guidance Dept/Counseling Dept/Planning Center, Hall Supervision/Cafeteria Supervision, In-School Suspension Supervision, Copy Room/Mailroom, Media Center, Study Hall/Independent Study Supervision, Behavior Support Rooms, and Testing Support. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be physically working in the building. Good communications, interpersonal and recordkeeping skills. Ability/desire to work with technology and computers. Ability to work cooperatively with students and staff. Ability to supervise students Ability to take direction. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
Rate of Pay:
$19.25/hour to $24.05/hour DOQ with K-12 Experience $20.40/hour to $25.20/hour with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, or up DOQ with K-12 experience $21.25/hours to $26.05/hour with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, or up DOQ with K-12 experience View additional terms and benefits here.
Start Date:
