  • Highly Qualified Full-Time 184 days/6.
5 hrs/day
Duties:
Work under the direction of a licensed staff member to provide supplemental reading and math support to at-risk students. May also provide social/emotional behavioral support to at-risk students.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be physically working in the building. Candidates must have completed 60 semester/90 quarter credits or obtained an associate's degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution or have passed the ParaEducator exam or ParaPro exam. (Documentation will be required) Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability/desire to work with technology and computers. Ability to work cooperatively with students and staff. Ability to supervise students. Ability to take direction. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
Rate of Pay:
$19.25/hour to $22.80/hour DOQ with K-12 experience
  • $20.40/hour to $23.95/hour with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K-12 experience
  • $21.25/hour to $24.80/hour with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K-12 experience
  • Candidates must have completed 60 semester/90 quarter credits or obtained an associate's degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution or have passed the ParaEducator exam or ParaPro exam.
