We are seeking dedicated and passionate Teachers and Teacher Assistants to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic and personal growth of students. The Teacher will play a vital role in curriculum development and implementing effective teaching strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Supervise, monitor and provide care to a group of children in our facility Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their educational experience. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Support students with special education needs by adapting lessons and providing individualized instruction as necessary. Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns related to child welfare. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices. Qualifications Candidates must have an associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Child Care Professional (CCP) certification (Teacher). 12 or more Child Development college credits (Assistant Teacher) High school diploma or equivalent (Teacher Aide) CPR certification required (must obtain within 30 days of hire) Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective teaching methodologies. Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners, including those in preschool or daycare settings. Proficiency in teaching subjects such as math, language arts, and social studies is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
