Qualifications:

At least two years of college credits from an accredited institution, or An associate degree or higher, or A passing score on an approved formal academic assessment (such as ParaPro, ParaPathways, or The Master Teacher), or proof of competencies per the MDE approved competency grid Current PCA certificate (or willingness to obtain—quick, free course available) Documentation of all qualifications required for district submission prior to interview consideration

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to students in specialized educational programs Assist teachers in daily classroom functions and individualized education plans (IEPs) Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment Implement behavior plans and support students' social and academic development Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to a positive school culture Attend a mandatory orientation scheduled only on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.
