Eagle View Elementary Academic Services Student and Staff Support Speicalist
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible to serve as an exemplary teacher and instructional leader who coaches colleagues by modeling, conferencing, observing, analyzing and providing substantive feedback. This position will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the MTSS framework at the site level. This position will train, support and monitor staff progress of MTSS implementation at the school level. This position will support staff through coaching, providing professional learning, providing resources while supporting administration and teachers in using data-driven practices to support effective learning practices across the district. This position also represents a broad grouping of diverse positions responsible for providing direct individualized interventions services to students. Incumbents also participate and collaborate with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues and district learning initiatives, curriculum and building issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct individualized intervention services to Tier 2 and 3 students
- Co-Facilitate/Coordinates school problem-solving team
- Collaborate with the principal to plan and implement staff development programs relative to district and building goals
- Guide building assessment practices
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current MN teaching license in Elementary Education or Special Education
- Reading license/endorsement preferred
- Masters Degree preferred
- 5 years of classroom or SPED teaching experience required New Prague Area Schools is a consistently growing district of 4,000 students, Pre K through 12.
