We serve children ages 6 weeks old up until they attend kindergarten. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to float among the school to support our classrooms and daily operations. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, enjoyed variety in their day, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Our vision is to provide a joyful early childhood learning experience that will lay the foundation for a lifetime of love of learning and a beautiful outlook on life. We aim to inspire and empower young minds by providing a stimulating, exciting environment where children will have the freedom to play, create, observe, question, wonder, and explore. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: To be dependable, punctual, flexible, patient, and have a love for children Build positive relationships with children, families, and other team members. Be careful and conscientious in performance of duties, including use of positive words and actions Be respectful, thoughtful and considerate of other people. Display a positive attitude towards the entire school community (program, children, families, co-workers) Respect confidential information regarding children, families, and co-workers Provide classroom coverage as needed throughout the day. Ensure that each child is nurtured and respected in a way that encourages growth within a safe space. To account for and supervise the children in your care at all times To provide basic care and caregiving for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children To be open to learning about non-traditional approaches to education Maintaining a safe and clean environment We offer: We offer competitive hourly wages and guarantee 40-hour work weeks Paid holidays Paid time off Paid in-service hours Child care benefit
