Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a vital role supporting students during the Extended School Year by providing hands-on assistance in a secondary education setting. This contract opportunity runs July 6th through July 23rd with a focused Monday through Thursday schedule, 7:30am to 1:00pm, including a 30-minute lunch. Expect a balanced 20-hour workweek, allowing you to contribute meaningfully while maintaining flexibility for other commitments. In this position, you'll work closely with students either one-on-one or within a classroom environment. The responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, supporting academic and social engagement, and being comfortable with direct care duties such as toileting, lifting, and feeding when needed. Qualifications include:
Para Test Certification Proof of two years of post-secondary coursework (60 semester or 90 quarter credits) from an accredited institution, or a college degree Experience or comfort providing personal care assistance, including toileting, lifting, or feeding when necessary A professional, compassionate, and adaptable approach in working with diverse students Ability to reliably commute for in-person interviews and your daily commitment You'll play an important role in shaping the ESY experience for middle school students.
