Description:
Saint Agnes School is now accepting applications for a part-time Kindergarten aide. The Kindergarten Aide is responsible for assisting the kindergarten teachers in creating an excellent Catholic learning environment. This role assists with daily classroom lessons and activities, student supervision, lesson preparation, and basic instructional support to help the teachers form Catholic hearts and minds in faith, reason, and virtue.
The Kindergarten Aide will:
Assist the teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation. Support students individually and in small groups with learning tasks. Prepare and organize classroom materials, supplies, and learning centers. Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, field trips, and transitions. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment, in collaboration with teachers. Encourage positive behavior, assist with classroom management, and student growth in virtue Provide support to students with varying learning needs under teacher direction, including small group intervention as needed. Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the teachers. Meet regularly with the Director of the Lower School to discuss execution of these responsibilities and student progress
