What You'll Do:
Provide hands-on support to teachers and enhance daily classroom activities Assist students individually or in small groups, fostering academic growth Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment Reinforce behavioral expectations and classroom routines Follow teacher-prepared lesson plans and instructions Offer IEP-related or specialized support to students with special needs Supervise students during transitions, meals, and non-instructional times Adapt quickly to different grades, staff teams, and student needs
What You Bring:
High school diploma or GED required (associate's degree or higher is a plus) Satisfactory background check as per Minnesota state protocols Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills Adaptability and independence in new classroom environments Dependability in accepting and fulfilling assigned shifts Patience, empathy, and genuine interest in supporting children Experience in school or child-centered roles preferred Familiarity with special education or classroom management is a bonus CPR/First Aid certification highly valued (or willingness to obtain) Perks of the
