Job Summary The Instructional Aide supports teachers in delivering instruction and maintaining a positive classroom environment. Working within a Catholic school setting, the aide helps reinforce academic skills while modeling Christian values and contributing to the faith-based mission of the school.

Job Responsibilities Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and instructional activities Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts Support students in reading, writing, math, or other subject areas as directed Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a respectful learning environment Prepare materials, organize classroom resources, and assist with grading tasks Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, or other non-instructional times Provide additional support for students with diverse learning needs Assist with classroom technology and basic troubleshooting Uphold and model Catholic values in interactions with students and staff Participate in school events, prayer, and liturgical activities Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred) Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting Basic understanding of instructional support strategies Ability to follow teacher direction and work collaboratively The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
