Job Description

Job Description The University of Missouri invites applications for a non-tenure track teaching faculty position in Exercise Physiology at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor , depending on qualifications and experience. Position Responsibilities The successful candidate will teach undergraduate exercise and fitness courses, with potential teaching assignments in graduate programs. Committee service is expected with possible opportunities in undergraduate program management. Courses may be delivered in face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats . The position is focused primarily on teaching and instructional excellence. Qualifications Minimum Qualification A PhD in Exercise Physiology or a closely related discipline by the time of appointment. Candidates will be evaluated on Demonstrated record of quality instruction at the undergraduate and/or graduate level Professional certification such as American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) , or comparable credentials Experience teaching in both in-person and online instructional modalities
