Job Summary The Classroom Aide supports teachers and school staff in providing a safe, organized, faith-filled, and effective learning environment for students. The aide assists with instructional activities, classroom supervision, preparation of materials, and daily classroom operations while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
Job Responsibilities Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and daily classroom routines
Provide individual or small-group support to students as directed by the teacher
Help prepare classroom materials, bulletin boards, and learning centers
Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, arrival/dismissal, and other assigned duties
Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly classroom environment
Assist students with assignments, technology, and classroom procedures
Support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual development
Reinforce classroom rules and behavior expectations consistent with school policies and Catholic values
Help monitor student safety and report concerns to the teacher or administration
Assist with clerical tasks such as copying, filing, attendance, and grading preparation
Participate in school events, liturgies, and activities as requested
Maintain confidentiality regarding student and school information
Support and uphold the mission and philosophy of Catholic education
Job Requirements Experience working with children preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, staff, students, and parents
Dependable, organized, and flexible
Basic computer and technology skills
Successful completion of background check and Safe Environment training
