Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant educational community. In this role, you will support classroom teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children across various age groups, including infant, toddlers and preschool. Your energetic approach will help foster positive behavior, learning, and promote social-emotional development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while gaining valuable experience in education. Duties Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and implementing educational activities aligned with developmental milestones and children's needs. Support children's literacy, math, and social skills development through engaging instructional techniques such as storytelling, hands-on activities, and interactive play. Help manage classroom behavior by applying effective behavior management strategies and promoting positive reinforcement to create a respectful and inclusive environment. Provide direct care for children, including infant and toddler care and preschool activities, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support at all times. Maintain classroom organization, assist with routine tasks such as preparing materials, supervising transitions, and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols. Experience Prior experience working in early childhood education or preschool settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students.
Pay:
From $15.50 per hour
