Job Summary St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Gildehaus is seeking a joyful, dependable, and faith-filled Kindergarten Teacher's Aide for the upcoming school year. This position supports the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and is committed to supporting their academic, spiritual, social, and emotional development in a Catholic school setting. Job Responsibilities Assist with lessons, activities, and daily classroom routines Work with students one-on-one and in small groups Help maintain a positive, faith-centered environment Support classroom management and student supervision (recess, lunch, etc.) Prepare materials and keep the classroom organized and safe Model Catholic values and participate in prayer and school activities Job Requirements High school diploma required; college coursework in education preferred Experience working with young children preferred Patient, dependable, and team-oriented Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to supporting Catholic education The Archdiocese of St. Louis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
