Assistant Infant Teacher

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to help maintain the classroom. This position is a full-time role and has potential to lead into a a lead teacher position based on performance and compatibility. As an added benefit, we may offer the option to bring your own child(ren) to our childcare center at a discounted rate.

Duties:

• assist with planning and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool children
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
• Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom

Skills:

• Experience working with children
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
• Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
