Job Description
Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract We are seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant to support students in a Self-Contained Sustained Support Special Education classroom . This position works closely with the Special Education Teacher to provide academic, behavioral, and daily living support for students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities Support students with academics, behavior, and social-emotional development. Assist with implementing IEP goals and behavior plans. Provide 1:1 and small-group support. Collect student data and document progress. Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and personal care needs as required. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff. Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive, student-centered approach. Previous special education or behavioral support experience is a plus.
