Job Description

MemoryCare is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to providing compassionate, holistic, out patient dementia care that emphasizes caregiver education, counseling, and support. MemoryCare has been providing services in Western North Carolina for 25 years. MemoryCare offers generous benefits, paid time off and paid holidays. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receptionist/Program Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, manage front desk operations, and support various administrative functions. Your proactive attitude and excellent organizational skills will ensure smooth daily operations while providing exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and staff. Duties Greet visitors warmly, manage incoming phone calls, and direct calls efficiently using professional phone etiquette Manage front desk responsibilities including check-in procedures, support scheduling needs, and triage calls to the appropriate clinical teams Collect patient fees and co-pays due at each visit Front office management tasks such as managing data entry and special projects as requested Support program activities by managing correspondence, and handling clerical duties with precision Utilize computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record Provide customer support by responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email and offering helpful information about programs and services Maintain front office supplies inventory and ensure the office environment remains welcoming and organized Qualifications Proven office experience with strong clerical skills including phone system management, data entry, and customer service Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while supporting multiple clinical teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),and basic computer and technology literacy Strong communication skills with a calm and professional phone manner Previous experience in front desk or administrative roles within healthcare or nonprofit settings is preferred Ability to manage time efficiently while prioritizing tasks to address immediate needs Join us at MemoryCare where your organizational talents will make a meaningful difference in the lives of families facing memory challenges. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
