Nest Assistant Teacher 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Charlotte Latin School is hiring a temporary part-time Nest Assistant Teacher in our toddler classroom. The position will begin as early as February 3rd and finish on June 2nd, 2026. The Nest is open from 7:15-5:45. This position will be 11-4:30 p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Meet the individual needs of the children Interact with children to support learning through play Present expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level Provide compassionate care in the areas of feeding, diapering, toilet training, etc. Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff Participate in staff and training meetings Complete annual required training hours as prescribed by the NC Division of Child Development Comply with school policies and procedures Perform other duties as needed Supervisory Responsibilities None Education and Experience One year of teaching experience with preschool-age children is preferred.
