In this vital role, you will provide direct support and supervision to individuals with behavioral health needs, disorder. Your energy and positive attitude will help foster a safe, nurturing environment where clients can thrive and develop essential life skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health, social work, and patient care. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration in accordance with medical records and treatment plans Monitor and document vital signs, behavior patterns, and progress using HIPAA-compliant medical documentation systems Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques to support client development and reduce challenging behaviors Respond effectively to crisis situations through crisis intervention and crisis management protocols to ensure safety for all individuals involved Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment goals, progress reports, and medical records updates Support clients during community outings or therapeutic activities while maintaining safety and adherence to medical terminology standards Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not necessary Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively while maintaining professional boundaries Strong documentation skills for medical records, behavioral data collection, and progress notes are necessary Join us in creating a positive impact by providing compassionate care and support to individuals on their journey toward independence.
