This role is perfect for someone passionate about nurturing young children during the afternoon hours, from 1:00 PM to 5:45 PM. As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and caring nature will help foster a positive learning atmosphere where young children can thrive, explore, and develop essential skills. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote early childhood development and learning Support infants with their routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Engage children in age-appropriate play, sensory activities, and social interactions to encourage growth and curiosity Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform teaching strategies Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering a nurturing atmosphere Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's needs and daily experiences Requirements Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in daycare or classroom settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a caring demeanor Flexibility to work during afternoon hours from 1:00 PM to 5:45 PM Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners!
