We have exciting opportunities available across multiple preschools, daycares, and childcare centers in Southwest Durham, NC and surrounding areas in Durham County. We are hiring for both Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers across our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
Teacher Responsibilities:
Interact affectionately and respectfully with children Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate professionally and warmly with children, families, and peers Collaborate effectively with other teachers and school staff members. Follow all health and safety policies and procedures while supervising the children at all times. Teacher Qualifications (all teaching positions): High School diploma (or equivalent) is required. Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a daycare, preschool, or similar child care setting Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environmentPreferred Qualifications:
North Carolina Early Childhood Credentials I and II (NCECC) Child Development Associate (CDA) or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field Prior experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool setting Experience developing lesson plans, leading classrooms, and engaging with families about child development Make a difference in daycare and preschool education with EarlyDay and apply today.Job Types:
