(FCR, Inc.) has been serving children and families for over 50 years through high-quality early childhood education and family support services. We are seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Aides to support our Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms. As a Teacher Aide, you will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. Working alongside classroom teachers, you will help children learn, grow, and develop the skills they need for future success. What You'll Do Assist teachers with implementing developmentally appropriate classroom activities. Work one-on-one and in small groups with children to support learning and development. Encourage positive social, emotional, and cognitive growth through daily interactions. Support classroom routines, transitions, and special activities. Supervise children at all times in classrooms, playgrounds, bathrooms, and during field trips. Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Support meal service and ensure children are supervised during meals and snacks. Assist teachers in preparing learning centers and classroom materials. Provide classroom coverage to allow teachers to complete educational duties and breaks while maintaining required ratios. Support positive behavior guidance practices in accordance with program policies. Participate in program activities, recruitment events, and professional development opportunities. Maintain respectful relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners. What You'll Need Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working with children under the age of five. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to supervise children and maintain a safe learning environment. Preferred Qualifications Child Care Credential (CDA) or coursework in Early Childhood Education. Previous experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, Head Start, or Early Head Start program. Knowledge of child development and positive behavior management practices.
