Walton Academy is seeking an experienced Teacher Assistant to serve as a 2nd Grade Instructional Aide. This position works closely with the lead teacher to support daily instruction, reinforce student learning, and help maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities Support the lead teacher with daily instruction and classroom activities Work with small groups and individual students to reinforce skills Prepare classroom materials and assist with organization Monitor student behavior and support a safe, structured environment Assist with transitions, routines, and daily classroom needs Qualifications Associate's Degree or at least 48 college credit hours (preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work well with young children and as part of a team Positive, dependable, and flexible Job Details Full-time, Monday-Friday 8-hour shift Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) matching
