Job Description

WNCSource has an opening for a Preschool Center Floater in Hendersonville.

Great benefits, including generous PTO and paid holidays Excellent wages Opportunities for advancement Funding for higher education Wellness program with rewards Retirement 403B Perks This is a full-time non-exempt 12-month position scheduled Monday - Friday Center Floater responsibilities include: Engaging in classroom activities and teaching in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the WNCSource Head Start program building and maintaining a positive, nurturing, and supportive relationship with the children and families. Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the classroom and on the playground. This position assists the Site Supervisor/Center Director in providing high-quality supplemental support in Early Head Start, Head Start, NC Pre-K and Wrap Around programs. This individual will step in to assist the classroom in the care and supervision of the children in the absence of a Teacher, Teacher Assistant, or Support and may also be asked to assist the Site Supervisor/Center Director, Office Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Cook or other staff as needed Head Start prepares young children to succeed in school and life beyond school. We deliver services to children and families in areas of early learning, health, and family well-being while engaging parents as partners every step of the way.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
High School Diploma/GED, achieved or working towards Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds a CDA.
Preferred:
