Paraprofessional

Brighten Your Horizons, LLC is seeking a caring, dependable, and patient Community Living and Supports (CLS) to work with a adult. This position will provide one-on-one support within the home and community setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting with daily living needs, supervision, community outings, and providing support within a foster home environment.

Schedule:

Approximately 20-25 hours per week Flexible scheduling may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and school closures

Responsibilities:

Provide supervision and support in the home and community Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and appointments Help with personal care needs, including reminders and support with pull-up changes as needed Support with mobility needs, including use of stroller or assistance during longer outings Encourage social interaction, life skills, and independence Document services provided and complete required notes accurately and timely Communicate with the family, foster placement, and agency staff regarding progress or concerns Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Experience working with children, foster care, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, or special needs preferred Must be dependable, patient, and compassionate Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required Must pass background check and meet Medicaid provider requirements CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Pay:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
