Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated NC Pre K Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with students in a meaningful way. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy education, physical education, and overall childhood development. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Foster relationships with students and their families, ensuring open communication regarding student progress and needs. Assess students' developmental milestones and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with special education staff to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that encourages exploration and learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices. Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Experience working with students in early childhood settings, preferably in private schools. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Ability to develop engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of preschool-aged children. Proficiency in behavior management techniques to address various classroom situations effectively. Familiarity with special education strategies to support diverse learners within the classroom context.
