Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Paraprofessional to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will support the quality assurance processes by performing inspections, data collection, and analysis to ensure products meet rigorous standards and regulatory requirements. Your proactive approach will contribute to maintaining high-quality products, compliance with industry regulations, and continuous improvement of our quality systems. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in quality control within a fast-paced, innovative environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Utilize calibration tools like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure measurement accuracy and consistency across manufacturing processes. Perform regular quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and other applicable standards to identify areas for improvement. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and defect trends to support root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support the implementation of quality management systems (QMS) by maintaining accurate documentation of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Assist in maintaining compliance with HACCP, CGMP, and other safety standards relevant to manufacturing environments. Participate in cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, enhance quality assurance procedures, and uphold high standards of quality control. Skills Proficiency with Calypso software for data management and reporting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of
ISO 13485
(medical device quality management), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), HACCP (hazard analysis), CGMP (current good manufacturing practices), and FDA regulations. Experience operating precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Excellent analysis skills for interpreting measurement data and identifying deviations or defects. Knowledge of quality audits, quality assurance principles, and quality management methodologies. Ability to perform detailed visual inspections using vision inspection systems and other precision instruments. Effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with team members on quality improvements.
