Job Description

Day Treatment Job Description (Paraprofessional) Job Description Comprehensive Interventions, Inc. is a behavioral and mental healthcare provider in Eastern North Carolina dedicated to serving children, adolescents, and adults coping with emotional, mental, and substance abuse challenges. We strive to connect and collaborate with community providers to eliminate barriers to services and provide integrated comprehensive health care to underserved populations. As our company continues to grow, we are seeking qualified professionals who are as passionate as we are about serving the community and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Position Summary:
The Day Treatment Para-Professional must have at least one year of experience with children or adolescent mental health consumers. This individual will work with consumers to reduce symptoms, improve behavioral functioning, increase the individual's ability to cope with and relate to others, promote recovery, and enhance the child's capacity to function in an educational setting.
About The Program:
This service is designed to serve children who, as a result of their mental health or substance use disorder needs, are unable to benefit from participation in academic or vocational services at a developmentally appropriate level in a traditional school or work setting.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow directions Must have experience, skills, or knowledge related to working with children/adolescents with mental health or behavioral health needs Must work under the supervision of a Qualified Professional (QP)
