In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning in children during their crucial developmental years. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional development activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop self-regulation skills Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and learning through play Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations Support individualized learning needs by working with children with disabilities or special needs such as autism or other developmental delays Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative learning environment Assist with routine childcare tasks such as diapering, feeding, and nap time to ensure comfort and well-being of all children Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, math concepts, Montessori or other educational philosophies is a plus Strong classroom management skills and the ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues confidently Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as autism is advantageous Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in a fast-paced setting A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
