Job Description

HIRING FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR.
Start date is August 12, 2026. Seeking a highly motivated preschool teacher who loves working with children, takes pride in creating a safe, nurturing learning environment, and implements lesson plans that guide the children's development every step of the way. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day learning and safety of all children. He/she will work with the teacher assistant to operate a classroom that puts emphasis on structure, routine, and building relationships. The teacher will interact, engage, observe, and assess children through play and be able to adhere to program policies and requirements. The teacher will develop a positive rapport with families as it is a vital part of optimal child development and learning. Requirements An associate, baccalaureate, or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or related field with experience teaching preschool children Requires a valid driver's license Bilingual in Spanish is a plus! Additional Information Thrive in a professional work environment with excellent coaching staff. Collaborate with your teacher assistant(s) as part of a teaching team to support children and implement policies. Children attend 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). Teaching staff have a built-in prep/training day each week (Wednesday). Full-time 9-month position from mid-August to mid-May. If desired, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc. Associate:
$28.00/hour ($43,008/annually)
Baccalaureate:
