Now Hiring:
Special Education Administrative Assistant Auburn Public Schools is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Special Education Administrative Assistant to support our Special Education Department.
Position Details:
Full-time, 12-month position Works closely with the Director of Special Education Full benefit package available
What You'll Do:
Maintain confidential student records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Track important timelines for evaluations, IEPs, and eligibility requirements Manage data entry, reporting, and documentation for state and federal programs Assist with financial tracking, purchase orders, and grant documentation Provide administrative support to special education staff and leadership Build positive relationships with staff and families while supporting daily department operations
What We're Looking For:
Strong organizational, clerical, and record-keeping skills Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and confidentiality Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Experience in a school or special education setting is a plus
