Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract This position offers an opportunity to support student learning and development as an Elementary Paraprofessional in a school setting located in Belmont, NH. The role involves working closely with students and teachers to provide instructional assistance and behavioral support.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional, especially in elementary education Strong behavioral management skills and experience working with students exhibiting behavioral challenges Ability to implement instructional plans under the supervision of certified staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and staff
Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering educational programs and activities Provide behavioral support and interventions to students as directed Monitor student progress and report on academic and behavioral development Help manage classroom environment to foster a positive learning atmosphere Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives Assist with classroom preparation and organization of materials as needed
Location and Schedule:
Position based in Belmont, NH Contract role, approximately 35 hours per week Work schedule aligned with the elementary school calendar and hours
